Milestone/Droid X Wifi Wep

I just rooted my Milestone X, and I have tried wifi-tether, and Barnacle. They both work great but I cannot find where I would assign them wep security or change their ssid's. I have looked in my phones settings, but I fund nothing their, and the apps do not seem to have settings of their own. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
