I want it to where I can just turn the screen on, slide my finger from right to left, and it go to vibrate... I don't want to have to unlock the phone, and then press the volume keys just to get it to that point, and then unlock it, and press them again to turn the sound back on... Right now, I am using Silent Mode Jammer... But that's just another process and another icon that I don't want... It would be nice to have the feature of choosing how it puts it into silent mode, rather than just turning off the sound and vibration all together...

Your side volume keys should work if your phone is locked. You will have to turn the screen on but then you can adjust the volume without unlocking the screen. However, you cannot have the volume keys locked by another app (mine is locked by EA but I did test it before posting).

It's not working... I can adjust it as soon as I unlock the phone. You know how most phones have it to where you hold a button down for a few seconds, it will put it on vibrate or silent, whichever you choose? I am wondering if there is a way to change it to where the default for "Sound Off" is to put it on vibrate mode instead of silent mode without the aid of an app...

Install Silent Mode Jammer from the app store. Lock your phone. Then, press the Home button, and slide the Sound On/Off slider to see how it puts it into Vibrate mose instead of Silent Mode. I want to change the default without that app installed...
EDIT:
Make sure it's the regular version and not the EX version. EX does not work...

You indicate that you presently have your phone locked - however, if you remove the stock lock function it will give you the slider (left to homescreen / right to silent). Outside of that - I think you are looking at a 3rd app.
I am not sure why it doesn't work tho - I am using Executive Assistant for my lockscreen and it has the option to "lock volume keys" in settings - which I have checked. However, when I unchecked them, I was able to adjust the volume after I turned the screen on but did not have to unlock the phone to do so.

I use widget locker...allows you to customize your lock screen
I have a slider that allows me to switch from ringer, vibrate and silent on my lock screen by just sliding my finger

Ok Hollywood - I couldn't even get the app to work LOL...I did check out the website but I haven't brushed up lately on my Chinese so that was no help. However, try this...when you turn your screen on, instead of unlocking, press the back button - do you get the slider?
