    Droid X shuts off on its own and cant turn back on

    Had the Droid X since release day with no problems until recently about a week ago. My Droid X while on or off the charge will shut down randomly. When i go to turn it back on via top power button noting happens. I have a black screen, no notification lights, cant recieve calls ect.. The only way to get the phone to turn on is to remove the battery completely and put it back in then turn it on via top power button. I need help! thank you!

    If the unit is stock (not rooted) I would call VZW customer service, they will likely send you a replacement.

    Yeah, I would call in, they should next day air you a new device, then you send yours back in the same box.

    I would call Verizon, I don't think this is something you can fix on your own, sounds like a hardware issue.
