Youtube Upload Fails

Have you successfully uploaded a video to youtube, via wifi, with a file size of 100 MB or more directly from your Droid X?

This was been mentioned in another thread, but I think it is getting overlooked in that section of the forum.

Anytime I try to upload a video to youtube (yes, I am connected via wifi), the phone reports that I cannot upload videos larger than 1 GB. The files I have tried uploading are less than 150 MB.

I am not the only one experiencing this. What I don't know if it is everyone, or just a select few.

I haven't tried with files less than 100 MB and I'm not able to at the moment. Please choose the appropriate poll option if you have.

Really, nobody has tried uploading a video to youtube yet?

I tried and got the same error message, its says can't upload 1 gb try my video is not even 200mb...this problem needs a fix

I don't know what size it was, but it worked fine. My phone told me I had to be connected to wifi to do it so I found a open wifi connection and, after a long wait (due to weak wifi source), it finally uploaded and was on youtube.

I confirmed that uploading a smaller video (<15 MB) is working fine for me. I would really like more people to try uploading 100 MB+ videos and report the findings.

I tried before and got that problem, but it didnt specifically said the size it just said larger files needed to be uploaded via wifi (unless I just completely missed where it says 1gb) but i'll try tonight because im already having problems signing into youtube so I havent even tried uploading it.

I also have not been able to upload videos and I have wi-fi on. Does not mention size though!!

Anywho, I have uploaded a lot of videos smaller than 100megs. It's never a smooth process and always takes some starting and re-starting, disabling and re-enabling wifi, etc. It also pauses a lot during transfers and I have to manually resume the transfer.

Uploading a 110meg video of me typing for a couple minutes...will let you know the results.

Iiiiiiiiiiiinteresting...it got to 100% then sat there. Now it keeps timing out and "waiting to retry". When I force a retry it goes back to "Uploading 100%" and just sits there...Very odd. I'll keep retrying for a bit longer and see if it ever gets through.

Yeah no luck here. Been "retrying" for almost 30 minutes but it's stuck at 100%. That's a big problem!
