Want to root, but want to make sure there's a path back. My X came with 2.2 preload
Hi all! I have a new Droid X. Just came over from an OG Droid rooted, overclocked, and running CyanogenMod ROM. I have read a lot about the difficulties with rooting the X and want to make sure I have a path back for warranty purposes and in case of a brick. Anyone have any help they can provide? I think I understand that getting back to original requires a SBF flash and I would like to make sure I have the proper SBF file... Thanks in advance!
P.S. Any suggestions for awesome ROMs?

An sbf will cure all, check out bit.ly/droidxsbf. Must people are running liberty or apex. I suggest you update to 2.2.1 before rooting and romming. Make a backup using bootstrap, check out the link in my signature.

Root with z4 and first thing after you root is make a backup with Droidx bootstraper. Then you can allways go back to stock and one click unroot and your warranty is good still
