I recently rooted my droidx with z4root,after the root i was and am still not able to load ROMs,i have ROM manager installed

Use bootstrap only, not ROM manager, see the How To in my signature
Don't use rom manager uninstall it does not work well with the X. Get droidx bootstrap

Go with 1KDS' sig. ROM manager sucks. I'm running Liberty 1.5 right now, I'm lovin' it. So easy to customize.

A proud owner of a rooted DX
ROM manager works very well for many devices, that is why it is so recommended and so hard to give up, on the DX however, it doesn't work well. Bootstrap is made by the same developer (koush(clockworkmod))
