Help My friend Broke My Droid X will Not boot Past the M logo or charge

So yea this sux. i been working on this phone since early this morning, long story short i think he overclocked my phone.So now it will not boot past the M screen. I have tried to to restore it back to the factory setting but will not let me . i would use rds but i cant get the phone to power on far enough for my compute to pick it up. also tried boot loader but cant get that to work either some plz help me i have been looking at my computer so long that my neck hurts lol

what does the bootloader read?

Pull the battery then hold power and home buttons at the same time until the triangle appears. Press the search button. Select wipe data / factory reset then reboot.

Use the volume buttons to toggle and the camera button to select.

Edit: didn't see that you already tried to factory reset. Is your battery dead?

what does the bootloader read?

I dont think it is it was on the charger all last nite but when i enter boot loader it says battery is to low or something. he was inputting custom roms when the phone freaked i feel like someone has murdered my kid

really to do anything at this point you need to find a way to charge ur battery OUTSIDE your phone bc it wont now in this state. external battery charger, find a friend with a DX, take it to best buy and use one of those, splice a usb cord..
