SD card, and the phone's built-in storage, if possible. I've tried a million different apps, many of which were glitchy as hell, and I want to see if any of them left any garbage behind after uninstall.
    Thx.

Why not just use the preinstalled app called Files.

I had not noticed that pre-installed before...I was going to suggest Astro as well...that is cool...

Apps store to phone. Pics, music, videos, and the files that come with apps.

I have several pics that I have taken. I went through the files tab as suggested to see what was on the sdcard. I want to make sure I do not loose them if something happened. It does not show the sd card separate from the phone files.

No, they are co-mingled..but if you want to be sure your pics you have taken are there, look for a file called DCIM, open and then you should see a file camera and your pics are hopefully there.
