MotoHelper and autorun windows 7 64bit

After installing MotoHelper the Autorun pop up box will not stay on for any device. It will pop for split second and disappear. Has any one else noticed this?

I had the same issue. It was definitely related to the MotoHelper program because Autorun worked fine after I uninstalled it.

I did some searching and found that some people were able to fix the issue by setting the MotoHelper service to start manually. I reinstalled the program, tried this and (after rebooting), Autorun seems to work normally again.

If you need information on how to set a service to run manually, try this site:

Services - Start or Disable - Windows 7 Forums

But once you get to step 5 for disabling a service, instead just right-click on the name of the service (MotoHelper Service), select Properties, and in the window that pops up, change the Startup Type drop-down menu to Manual. Then reboot the computer and hopefully Autorun will work fine for you. If not, start Task Manager and see if MotoHelper is still running in the background. If it is, try right-clicking on it and ending the process, and then rebooting again.

    Hope this helps.

Interesting, thanks for your replay. I just uninstalled Moto drivers. I don't like to have broken drivers. To bad Motorola can not write drivers that will not effect Windows functionality.
