Can't Root after latest update.

I have been pulling my hair out for days now. I can't get my DX to Root after the latest update.

After the 2.2 update, I rooted using the manual method without problems. the 2.2.3 update killed my root access as expected but now I can't get it to work.

I have read several other posts with similar issues, but none like the one I am having.

The one click method fails after the reset step. If I try the manual method, everything goes fine until the phone resets. Then, I can't get ADB to see the device. It shows up as Offline no matter what mode it is in or how many times I plug and unplug the USB cable. As long as "rageagainstthecage-arm5.bin" is running on the phone, ADB reports that the device is offline. If I reset the phone, ADB is happy, but no SU access

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just use z4root found in hacks section of these forums. It's an app u install on phone and one click it works.

I can't get my phone rooted since the patch that was pushed out today. Anyone else having this issue? I've tried z4root with no success.

I dunno. It still says 2.2.1 but when I woke up this morning my phone had an OTA update. Not sure what it was for but my phone has Madden 11 on it now.

It didn't ever have Madden before? If not, then you got the 2.2.1 update.

Hrm. Well I just bought the phone yesterday. Figured it was fully updated already. I'm assuming it wasn't but now is? I was able to root it prior to this update taking place with sil3ntki11's one click root yesterday but now I can't root it with that or z4root.
