    help!!!installed apex rom

    like the title says i flashed the apex rom and everything went smooth. so i thought. anyhow my question is how do i recover my contacts??? they all went bye bye with the exception of a few randoms that were left behind. Please somebody help thank you in advance

    Give it some time to sync with google's servers.
    If they never come back, you could flash back to the pre-apex backup, go to contacts>menu>import/export>export to sd card. Then you can flash back to apex, go back to contacts and import.

    ok nevermind something weird has happened in the app menu when i look at the contacts its only a few but when i open the contacts from the dockbar they are all there...weird thanks anyway

    yeah thank you i remembered reading that i should back my contacts up to sd and i did but i dont understand why they grouped them different between the two locations ohh well

    Your contacts are backed up with your Gmail account, really no need to back them up to your SD Card unless you think you need to.

    That is, as long as you have it set to sync, if you don't (unknowingly) and flash a new rom they will be gone
