    I just rooted today and I'm glad I did. My purpose was to freeze (disable) a stock application that was annoying me. I rooted....froze....and rejoiced

    This is my first smartphone. What do i need to do before i root? I dont care to get rid of all of my downloaded apps and redo them. What about after i root. Its all new to me. I was having fun with my phone until the newest update, not now, so seems like a good time to try.

    Root doesn't screw anything up, just allows the user to screw things up.

    I rooted my x last night. Everythings good. this morning i am trying to overclock. When i set it it restarts the phone, then shows max 1000mhz. What am i doing wrong? Useing droid x overclock, medium voltage, turns off and back on as soon as i touch freq setting. Should i be on the hack forum
