    Hotmail ActiveSync Problems (NOT POP)

Does anyone actually have Hotmail syncing properly using ActiveSync Exchange on their Droid X ? I have mine setup and it pushes things fine, the problem is syncing back. If I delete something from my phone, it is not deleted from the server side of things. It's really strange and annoying. I thought the new update with "Improvements to Microsoft® Exchange ActiveSync®:" might solve the problem but it has not.

I get all my contacts from there and my mail on push notifications which works great. It just doesn't syncing back to the server side from my phone.

I've tried Touchdown, K-9, MailDroid and nothing works like it's supposed to work. I'm doing it now by using the stock Accounts Exchange Setup with Stock email client on the DX. Any help would be great.

Once again, this has nothing to do with POP settings. I'm referring to the setup that's available here.

I gave up trying to set up hotmail with an app. I just use the mobile website where I have all my folders and stuff, and made a bookmark for my homepage.

I was having problems with it syncing read/unread so I decided to delete/re-add the account and now I can't get earlier than one month's worth of emails in the inbox. When I set it to "All" I get one week's worth.

Ugh...you can tell it's not perfected yet (the EAS.)

Yeah I found that about a month ago, but look at the problems listed:

    1) It appears it does text only, no pictures. Maybe that's an issue with the stock email app? Don't know myself, as I've never used the stock email app, but I'm assuming it's Hotmail.
    2) There doesn't appear to be a way to move messages into other folders from their current location.
    3) As Dragoro pointed out, it only syncs back one month. This is not a big deal for me personally, but could very easily be for others.
    * Sidenote - the mobile Hotmail website was revamped awhile back (wave 4) and has most (if not all) of the functionality of the actual website... just something to note for those that haven't checked it out in awhile.

Still a bunch of crap IMO. Hotmail mobile is the way to go!
