    Looking for the 1-Click for rooting a DX phone...which is the best choice and the least amount of Pain & Suffering...

    Most of the Rooting questions are scatter with different choices and I get confused looking for the best choice...

    I do hear that 4ZRoot is new...is it a good choice?

    I used the DroidX Root program by Alldroid. I was simple and worked the first time. It has "root me" and "unroot me" buttons. If you google "1-click droidX root" there are several links that come up. It did the job the first time. Doesn't get much easier than that

    Its z4 not 4z. Might be why you can't find it. Go to the market and type in z4root. Just like that. Then install it. I used it to root my phone, and literally took less than 2 minutes, including the reboot. Just push the button, and let the phone do its thing.

    I did the Z4root.......was very easy, but I do not notice any difference in the X...maybe it's just me.

    Rooting your phone does not yield you anything but "Admin Privileges", so No you will not see a difference in how the phone operates.... However now you have the power to change that since you have root....

    If you want to see a change.. flash a ROM and Possibly Over clock it.
