    Several Apps stuck on "Installing"

I have several apps stuck on "installing" (5 total.) The apps are Tethering, Instant Heart Rate, Bamboo Forest Live Wallpaper, Foursquare, and Grooveshark.

I even went into manage apps, and force stopped them, then uninstalled them. still when I open market, and go to downloads or search for one of those apps, they show a progress bar (with no progress) and state that they are installing.

I have tried rebooting. I have tried pulling the battery and leaving it out for 10 minutes. I have tried searching. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

It could be a 3G issue - do you have access to wifi? Also, try them one at time to see if you can get past whichever one might be hanging up...but my guess is it is the network itself...

Yes, I have in fact tried wifi. I am at the point where I can not try them one at a time, there is the list of the five of them that are just sitting there stuck on installing. They have been in this state for about two weeks, even though I have even went into the application manager and uninstalled them.

I've had the same problem occasionally with installing/updating apps, where the app(s) would get stuck. I've always been able (so far, keep my fingers crossed) to be able to close Market (use the "back" button) and restart and it usually works the second time around. Usually, I am on wifi when updating/installing apps.

Clearing data / cache might also help....phone settings - applications - manage applications - open app, tap on clear data, clear cache...

I had this same problem. I don't remember how I fixed it though.

It is very annoying when it happens.

I have deleted the app already, as stated above, now I can't install it again, because when I go to install it, it says it's "installing" This is very aggravating, because I use/pay for grooveshark and it is one of the apps stuck "installing" is there really no easy fix for this?

No, not deleting the app. You want to go in to manage applications and clear cache and data from the market. I had this problem a few times and that worked every time.

Have you attempted to force close the Market to see if that will help to reset any connections?

Thanks! I thought you were saying clear data/cache for the apps that were stuck installing. I went to manage applications > market, then cleared cache and deleted data, then just for extra measure I forced closed the the post below yours suggested as well. I then went into the market and it asked me to accept the EULA again, then all my apps that were stuck "installing" were now unstuck.

Thanks for the great help guys/gals.

See ya around, and hope this thread helps someone else.
