Help with removing Superuser Permission app?!?!

A few days back I had a problem with my camera on the phone (it drained my battery every hour or so) so I called up verizon and they sent me another one. Well before the NEW X got to my house my OLD X started to act normal again and the 2.2 update came out so without thinking I installed the OTA update without un-rooting 1st!

Now I still have the superuser permisson app. It isn't rooted cause it will not let me open any apps that need root. How can I remove this so that I may send the phone back to verizon as close to stock as possible?

I have the NEW X now and wish not to keep the OLD X in fear of the camera problems resurfacing. THANKS!

If you just want to wipe all data you can do a factory reset.

1. Turn the phone off.
2. Hold the Power and Home buttons down for about 5 seconds.
3. A screen with an exclamation will appear. Tap the Search key.
4. Scroll down to factory reset using the Volume Down button.
5. Confirm the selection.
6. Select Yes — delete all user data then tap OK.

This should wipe everything off your phone.

I did the factory reset and cleared the cache but that did nothing. I did everything I could think of and as a last ditch effort I decided to go with the TBH 2.2 (system only) SBF and it worked. Now I can send my phone back to verizon worry free! Thanks for your help!
