DX is bricked, computer wont recognize

The Bootloader on my phone says that the USB is plugged in, but my computer is not recognizing it at all. I can access recovery mode, however it is not clockworkmod. any help would be greatly appreciated, im going to try and use a different computer right now, and i am currently running Windows 7 64bit.

Try restarting your computer and rebooting your phone. I had this happen once too but it worked after I rebooted the phone.

I'm hoping he means RSDlite isn't recognizing it because if he's trying to get it to somehow recognize it outside that program he's way off base.

I also hope he move pst_flash.ini into the rsdlite folder.

Sorry for the lack of info guys, but yes, i restarted everything, yes it was in RSDlite, and yes i do have the drivers installed. I fixed the problem by takin my external drive to my dorms comp labs and doing the reflash there. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Follow directions to a "T" whenever doing "any" of this stuff, especially if you don't know what you are even doing.

If you pay close attention, you'd see that the two files are different. They have different file sizes. You have to "overwrite" the one already in the install directory with the modded one in the download. This is so RSDLite can see your DX. That is why it isn't seeing your phone.

Come on people, please follow directions.

I'm sorry guys, i was so distressed that my phone was screwed up i wasn't thinking straight. I now have replaced the .ini but have another problem, apparently the battery dosn't charge for some reason, and the bootloader wont work unless its charged. Is there any way to get it to charge? i don't have any friends with the X either so i cant exactly borrow one
