Stuck after "replacked sbf will be flashed (less than 50mb)

Everything works as said till my phone is supposed to reboot twice.
It gets to a screen that says something like "your phone should reboot" and at the bottom it says "waiting for device".
Then nothing happens. I tried to reboot by using the power button but that just shuts the screen off. Pressing it again brings the bootloader screen back up. I then tried what I saw in a previous post of removing the battery. But when the battery is reinstalled, the phone just loads to the bootloader screen again and nothing happens. This is my first time rooting and im sorry for the inconvenience. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

try disconnecting usb, pull battery, wait 30 secs, replace battery, reboot, wait for reboot to complete, reconnect usb

at this point, I'm sure you will need to, restart root program

Alright, so something I didnt notice until this morning... I now have superuser.
This made me question if I was rooted or not. So I tried the app RootChecker as well as using a terminal to comfirm a # indicating root.
Both said that I was rooted. I even tested out a root exclusive app and it worked. My questions is, how is this possible?
I never made it to the twice reboot and I NEVER did the volume buttons at android andy. I didnt even get to the point of seeing android andy.
Im happy that I'm now rooted and extremely thankful to sd_shadow. My major concern is that something is not right. If both the app and terminal say im rooted and I can use root exclusive apps, does that mean that everything went right? Or is it more likely that something didnt quite work, and I stand a high chance of bricking my phone?
Sorry for the overdrawn question. Just concerned. As always, any help is appreciated. Thanks

Reboot your phone. If it still has root when its back on then I'd say you are good to go. It must have worked somehow or you were already rooted somehow? I don't know but I wouldn't question it. If all root apps are asking for SU permission then I'd say you are all set to move on to ROMing or whatever else you would like to do.
