Liberty GB v0.5 and email & app problem

Earlier today I installed the full version of Liberty GB. This afternoon I flashed v0.5 with the kernel zip file. So far I have identified two issues: my Titanium Backup app does not show up on the apps menu, though AppBrain tells me it is installed. To be sure, I uninstalled & reinstalled it, but it still doesn't show up.

Secondly, I no longer have an email client. It no longer shows up in the apps menu and when I follow the instructions in the Moto Droid X manual to add an account, all I get is a corporate sync, a facebook, Twitter, Google, & Yahoo Mail - no generic email client.

Am I missing something here? It appears that the v0.5 update is the culprit, but does someone have a workaround for me?

As a follow-on to the previous message; I do see Titanium Backup Pro in Settings on the Manage Applications screen. It just doesn't show up in the application menu screen.

My email synced just fine with my google account. when you get an email do you get the notification at all?

If you go in to the liberty settings, liberty custimizer... then run that you should be able to turn an email client on. mine was off by default. not the liberty toolbox but settings>liberty settings>liberty custimizer

Thanks for the info, sdm. I ended up getting a third party email client, InoMail, that I like. As to the Titanium Backup Pro, I came across a post on another forum suggesting that the nondonate version needed to be reloaded. I did that, and everything was copacetic.

I went into settings for Liberty & I see what you mean. I wish they would do a Wiki for Liberty like Titanium does for its product.
