    This is a big help to the newcomer, but I agree that it should be a sticky file. It's not that easy to find. Also, I think it needs to be updated. There are many letter abbreviations thrown around commonly in the Droid forums, making it almost impossible for the non-technical person to understand what's being discussed.

    2nd-init is just a different exploit used to kinda get around the locked bootloader. The roms based on it are awesome possum
