So I am having trouble with debug mode, while in mass storage i get the orange triangle and can see device in adb devices, but the root has to be in pc mode and I can't seem to get debug mode on that mode, and when i do adb devices in pc mode it doesnt show phone, any ideas?

Try other modes. You don't actually have to be in PC mode; some people have done it in USB mass storage mode and even in charge-only mode. Try 'em, one will work for you.

To be truthful. I was in mass storage mode. Don't forget the mount command if you need it either.

Worked fine once I tried it in charge only mode (was getting permission denied errors as anything else).

am i just being a rhetard but after i have done everything in the instructions.. and the try to do this

NOTE: it might be a smart idea to do "rm /system/bin/rootshell" after you have su and superuser in place as ANY program will have access to your root if you leave it (cause everyone will know the password)

i get this
"rm failed for /system/bin/rootshell no such file or directory
