FYI All, please refrain from deleting gtalkservice.apk
My email's been acting weird since I did. Crashed once.
Also refrain from deleting NewsWidget and WeatherWidget.
Not sure which one of the 3 is the reason why, but I can't download apps from the Marketplace anymore since removing these.
If anyone doesn't mind uploading those 3 files for me, that would be much appreciated so I can replace them and get back to normal. Silly mistake on my part, not backing them up before removal
Click on the link above that zoulkyud posted. I found it on alldroid. It appears to have all of the apk's.
Awesome. Thanks for the heads up. Just got them.
If any of the mods could add those 3 to the "Do Not Remove" list it may help someone else. Thanks again guys.
My linux fails me. I just attempted to load these 3 apps back into the /system/app directory
First, I loaded them into /sdcard successfully
Then I tried to cp them into the /system/app directory but it wont let me.
Tried to chmod the files first then move them, still no dice. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?
cp /sdcard/NewsWidget.apk /system/app/NewsWidget
cp: /system/app/NewsWidget: Read-only file system
# chmod 4755 /sdcard/NewsWidget.apk
chmod 4755 /sdcard/NewsWidget.apk
Unable to chmod /sdcard/NewsWidget.apk: Operation not permitted
# cp /sdcard/NewsWidget.apk /system/app/NewsWidget.apk
cp /sdcard/NewsWidget.apk /system/app/NewsWidget.apk
cp: /system/app/NewsWidget.apk: Read-only file system

Just some ideas. Try mv for move. I think you might need busy box for some linux commands to work. You also might need to mount having R/W capabilities. I'm trying to type this on my storm in the train so ill try to elaborate later.
***UPDATED*** I have removed:
And a few others without issues so far. You can also rm BlurHome but you'll want to do so after adding a home replacement. Also, I'm not sure what removing BlurHome does w/ a factory reset. As for the ones listed above, I was also able to perform a factory reset without having the semi-brick issue that has been mentioned. Obviously, do this at your own risk!

Thanks, SB551. Im on the road right now but as soon as I get home I'll give it a shot.
@ Jada, are you still able to download apps from the market after that? Cos if so, I must be barking up the wrong tree
wow jadambpharm, is there any app's left on your phone? LOL
