I had my Droid X rooted and was loving being able to tether and do other such things. However, when I recently updated my Droid X to 2.3.3, I noticed I could no longer use wireless tether and realized that I most not be rooted any longer. I completely forgot that updating my Droid would do this. At any rate, because I had Z4root installed on my phone, I ran the program again in an effort to root my Droid. After several attempts, nothing seems to be happening. I run Z4root and it starts going though the motions where it looks like it is working and then about 20-30 seconds, it just flashes over to my home screen with no message.
I tried uninstalling Z4root and reinstalling, but exact same issue. Does the fact that I have the superuser app installed have any impact on this issue? I'm really at a loss as what to do! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
