    OK... So I have no Idea about this but I want to learn... Can someone give better directions on how to ROOT.... I am sorry but I have never done this type of thing before... Does the root allow for the free WiFi?

    after reading more i have found that adb is "android debug bridge" it is part of the sdk "standard development kit" which can be downloaded at Android SDK | Android Developers
    thats as far as ive gotten so far. hopefully that helps the other newbs like me out

    I am also one who has no idea how to do this, so i wont even mess with it, but that is awesome they finally were able to Root. I know everyone was worried about it.

    A Dummies Guide to Android Terminology & Lingo

    There is a good explanation of the basics. If you need help setting up ADB, there are plenty of forums here and on Droid Forum - Covering all Verizon Droid Phones: Motorola Droid, Droid X, Droid 2, Droid Incredible and Droid Eris explaining very simple how-tos on setting up ADB.
