So I've tried to put in my password in the Voicemail settings so that each time I go to Voicemail it will auto enter my password for me. But it's not taking.
Whenever I hit the Voicemail button, it resorts back to *86
Anyone have any luck overriding this? It won't even let me delete the Voicemail Contact.
I just added 2 commas (pauses) after the *86 and then my password. Maybe there is a better way that doesnt have your password listed for anybody to see, in the "voicemail" contact...

I am having the exact same problem -- i keep entering my password but it refuses to "save" and the phone reverts back to simply "*86". It's driving me crazy...any suggestions?

Do you have a VM?

did you try changing the password by dialing and changing on the voicemail server or just on your phone?

Add the pauses and password to your voicemail contact as previously mentioned. Create a shortcut on your home screen for that voicemail contact or add as a favorite. It would be nice if you could use the icon on your call screen though.
