Really high battery temp while streaming

I was streaming pandora in my car for an hour and I noticed that my battery widget was saying my battery temp was 116 degrees. I've never seen it get that high before is that higher than anyone else had seen? Is that too high?

It is 100 degrees here right now and I don't have ac in my car.

I've had my D1 in the 130's... You have to expect that high number when streaming in 100 degree weather...

+1 on D1 temp, mine got as high as 135 once. I believe it's safe up to 170, but I personally wouldn't go above 150 just to be safe.

Ok cool, thanks! I stopped it at the time just to be safe but now I know it's ok.
