I was able to do this. The problem I encountered was bring able to make the phone use that map. Sometimes I could get a button that allowed me to follow the route I planned, but most of the time it would figure a new route. I haven't played with it enough to figure out why I didn't have the navigate choice all the time.

how do you save to a google profile? I can't access my saved maps from Google Maps on my Droid can I?
