My battery lasted me all day yesterday from when I activated my phone (3PM), it booted up with 75% battery life, and I didn't need to charge it until 1AM last night. And I used the crap out of it. Texts, calls, video recording, took pictures, listened to music, used the HDMI out to replay some recorded videos, browsed the web, Facebook, used the market to d/l a lot of apps, and more. I was very impressed. Charged it overnight and it's now 11:25AM and I've been up using the phone since 8:30 and I'm at 80% battery still.
This is crazy! Love the 45nm processor =]
Edit: Oh yeah, I'm using "Smart Mode" for my battery profile. Phone never slows down!
Awesome om having great success with the DX battery as wellso far.

quick question,
if i put my phone on battery saver mode, what disadvantages do i have? what will happen to my phone?

I've got it on smart mode.i got really good mileage the first few days....about 7-8 hours if pretty heavy use. I let it drain completely and then charge completely and now my battery barely lasts 4 hours. Anyone have any ideas?

I've had my DX in Saver mode all day today. Battery life was pretty reasonable till I paired my BT headset. LOL
Other thing I've found that eats power is the GPS. I trying to get myself into the habit of turning off the GPS function when I leave my car and turning it on when I start up the GPS. I really wish the Navigation App used by the Car Dock of the DX had the option to do this automagically! Till it does I added an app called "Quick Settings" to the custom button on the Car Dock app.
Yea though I walk through the valley of Google I shall fear no Apple...
I'm in smart mode. Decent battery life for a big a$$ screen. I also have the power time app. I had it installed on my original Moto Droid and so I installed it on my DX. On my Droid it showed 33hrs.@ 100%. On my DX it only shows 26hrs@ 100%. I'm going to run it dead and recharge to full and see what happens.
Either you have an app(s) refreshing interval every min or something bc there is no way it only lasts 4 hrs. Unless your battery is bad. Some batteries could be defective.
Does Battery Saver Mode affect how you get emails and push notifications? I will switch to battery saver, but between having ADD, and being at work most of the day, I will forget to check my emails manually.
Emails are about the only thing I need my phone to automatically update and notify me of, so if there's a way to still get live email notifications in Saver Mode, that would be ideal.
Anyone know if this is possible?
I intend to live forever. So far so good.
