Root or Unroot before Froyo Update?

Rooted X here. Just wanted to see if any rooted users were able to successfully upgrade to FROYO with the OTA update?

Or do I have to unroot first?

You can upgrade without unrooting. But you will not have root afterwards unless you reroot.

Easy root does not support froyo.... yet. Hopefully they will update soon.

Search for the "Droid2 Root Method".
This method also works on the X.
It does require adb on a Laptop or Desktop.
Lost root after the update. Took 5 minute to get it back.
