I have a warranty on my Droid X, what phone would I get from Verizon if my DX broke? I don't think the DX2 is sold anymore so im just curious.

I have a warranty on my Droid X, what phone would I get from Verizon if my DX broke? I don't think the DX2 is sold anymore so im just curious.
They might still have some refurbs around so don't get too excited (or do get excited?).

What if they don't have any DX or DX2 in stock?
A razor maybe, I know someone that ended up with one because his dx died and they didn't have a replacement.

Dunno if this helps you, but my Dx was operating poorly in May 2012 & I called Verizon to voice my complaint....I have their extended warranty & they replaced it with a Dx
What they sent was junk so they sent an X2. This was also junk & they sent another one. Everything they sent arrived in 2-2.5 days (Fed Ex). Although it's now 5 months later so pay attention to the other posts & feedback others make here.

my buddy dropped his X in the water and Verizon sent him the LG Statosphere. that was like 2 months ago.

Just got off the phone with ASSurion. I started a claim for a cracked screen and told them I wanted to know what the replacement would be so I could decide if I should just put the $100 toward a newer phone or not. The rep told me the replacement would be another DX..... bah.
I've been an insured Verizon customer for 9 years and have NEVER made an insurance claim. I don't have the energy to play the "this replacement sucks... give me more better one!1111!!!" game with them.
Looks like I'm stuck with the X unless I can find a decent X2 for not much more than $100. I have an upgrade available, but I'm not giving up my unlimited data. No way I would ever pay full price for a phone either.
