Apologies if this is already posted somewhere but I'm having a hard time find the info I'm looking for. I have a new phone and it is activated on my line now and I want to get rid of my old DX. I've wiped data and cache from CWM but when I reboot it still has my old wallpaper which tells me its not getting rid of everything. More importantly, my phone number is still listed in the phone status. How do I remove my number and do a more thorough wipe? Thanks!
You'll want to SBF it then wipe data. What system version are you on? On the phone - settings - about phone. Should end in .602 .605 or .621
I'm on .605. SBFing will remove my number also?
It will put you back to stock but can be activated again just like you did when you got it. Your number is there till you call in and have it Deactivated
