BH6X fit into normal door?

Will a BH6X fit in a normal size BH5X door ...... I could order the battery (BH6X) of amazon for 10.99 but if I get it with its door it would cost 35 or more and so would it work ok?

It will possibly fit but the added pressure will ruin your screen display over time. I'd recommend if you buy the extended battery that you get the door also.

Unfortunately, the answer is "sometimes". Mine did NOT fit with the stock door, others have. I got the BH6X door separately for less than that on Amazon, but it has been several months ago

I'd go with both of these people. I've heard of the door fitting, when I got my 6X it did not fit. There have also been plenty of people who thought it fit though, and two months later had a broken screen. Personally I can't recommend it based on that track record; so I'd say just get the door. I mean you might get lucky with the 5X door, if you want to check it out first feel free. But if its tight AT ALL (you have to press to get it to slide in properly, compared to the normal slide in action it has) then you need another door.

just to add on what's said above... the margin is so small.. sometimes you can get away with it.. sometimes(most times actually) the door will fit... but(as i saw first hand) it will put pressure on the screen and actually cause a rainbow effect in the middle of the screen...

+1 for what nemo said. I was using the extended battery and was ggetting that rainbow effect then i took off the back cover and used it without the cover and a case on. Worked very nicely after that!

Ok ... yea I ordered the door two but I was just worried that my defender otterbox wouldn't fit over the back soooooo yea

I did what may said. I used it without the door at all in the case. Still fit perfectly that way.

Is the rainbow effect a pixel issue? My sick little Xena has dead pixels and she has had a 6X in her with a 5X door for over 2 years. And she didn't have pixels until a month after overheating so badly in a hot car. That was before I got her from my Mum that she overheated. Xena started getting dead pixels a week after I got her

I decided that there will be no more 6X's for Xena. She will only be allowed to use 5X's from now on. I even said " OK Xena, no more Xtendeds for you cuz I'm not buying you another battery door. Because your battery door has a Hyacinth Macaw tattooed on your back end and its the only way I can tell if you're Xena or X. And you need something to make the male DX's think you're pretty", I always talk to my Droids cuz I love them so much. Its part of my Autism
