OK I have a question. I'm planning on buying a bigger SD card( a 32Gb) and I am wondering how I go about moving all my data and keeping the root, if possible.

I never formatted mine. Just copied the old sd onto the new, installed, and rebooted. If that doesn't work good, then you can format the sd in clockwork recovery.

How do I copy it?

It won't affect root at all. Just copy all the files to your computer, pull the old sd, put in the new and copy the files back over to the new card. Or if you have a micro sd adapter you can use that as well. Your phone will never know but will be happy with all the new room!

How do I view the files? Or open the SD card?

As far as brand? I've had good luck with sandisk and Kingston....and most come with the adapter
tap'd from the Gnex
I have a pny 32 gb class 4 in my s3. Works pretty good.

Keep in mind that Class 4 is what's recommended for the DX. Higher class cards will work but may cause issues.
