Hi,
I have a Motorola Droid X. After dropping it this week the screen had some scattered dark pixels and a couple of dark lines. They have gotten progressively worse over the last 48 hours, especially after (or perhaps because) I ran a stuck pixel fixer app in a Hail Mary pass.
Here's my question: The touch screen function works fine, the phone is perfectly usable as before, and the glass is not cracked. So I am thinking all that needs replacing is the LCD, not the digitizer or glass. Am I correct? I found one on ebay listed as new with a 99.3% positive rated seller (34000+ ratings) for $19.
I have watched a YouTube video showing how to disassemble the Droid X and replace the glass. It is more involved than the iTouch glass replacement I did for my son, but I have all the necessary tools and excel at following instructions. Just wanted to verify I am ordering the correct part.
Thanks!
