Baseband update to 15 possible with Gingerbread?

I am running Milestone X 4.5.604 Gingerbread ((1KDStaz_MX_4.5.604.iso))
Is there anyway to get to the baseband 15 with Gingerbread? I have tried downgrading to Froyo with no luck. My phone always boots to a bootloader 30.04 error A5 etc. etc. no matter what I use whether RSD Lite or the Linux options.

I had a much larger thread typed and submitted it but that seems to have been lost?

Well if you are on 604 then you must have been on 621. Which has the .15p radio in it.

Or you could sbf (with rsd) to 621. Then use the Linux method to go to 604 and root then flash the 621 kernel and be rooted on 621

This phone never got the 621 OTA. The only way this phone was on 621 was after I had installed the milestone I installed the following ROM which did not include the radio update.

So does your instructions for SBF to 621 still apply? Do you have a good link for SBF 621? I would rather use the Linux boot if that is an option?

Okay well with you being on 604 your gonna have to go to 621 to get it. And here's where I get all my sbf files

Just download 621 and use rsd light to sbf.
But if you go to 621 you will be suck on 621 and 604. There won't be any going back to 605 602 or 596.
But once you get on 621 you need to use Linux method to go to 604 then root and then flash the 621 kernel and you'll be good to go.

He's already stuck as he flashed ky's .621 AIO. He'll have to RSD Lite to .621 to update the radio. TBH he was probably stuck after doing the .604 SBF anyways.

Ok, So I did rsd lite sbf to .621 which does include the radio update. That is the good news! Now according to how I am reading this I am going to have to go back to Milestone X and then root and then run the following update again?

Ok, I did exactly what I listed above and it worked like a CHARM!

Telling me to SBF to .621 is exactly the info I needed to get this ship back in the water. Now I am at Radio 15 and 2.3.4 .621 rooted and smiling. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
