Verizon dropping "Grandfathered" Unlimited Data Plans?

Rumor is Verizon is going to announce any day or sometime soon that they will be dropping users from their "Grandfathered" unlimited data plans when you upgrade to a new device and sign a new contract. Saw this on twitter from a repost by developer MobileSensei from another user who was given info. This is not confirmed nor automatically correct just passing it along. What does everyone think about this if it happens? Enough to leave Verizon for Sprint? I would personally consider it as I use a fair amount every month. Hope this dosent happen. I have 5 lines so jumping ship isn't that easy. Guess the 2 for upgrade will get done if it does get announced.

I hope not. The only reason Verizon has been appealing to me and my family is because we're grandfathered into our unlimited plans

For real man, I use a ton of data and I for sure couldn't switch back to 2gb. I used that tethering to download sbf files in one night..

Yea that's just wrong. There is no way I could go down to 2 gb. For the same price as I'm paying for unlimited. I would buy out right or switch. I hate to switch because VZW is better. Ugh
