So with this all going into effect would I be able to buy a 4g phone at full value and then add it with unlimited data or is it restricted to only 3g phone keep the unlimited data plan.

So my store has a verizon wireless in it. I got the scoop. If you "upgrade" and get the "contract price" on a phone, you lose the grandfathered unlimited web. There's a way you can keep it, but you'll hafta pay like 600 for ur new phone instead of like 2-300.

That's correct. Doesn't matter where you buy a phone, just don't get the "discounted" price with a 2yr contract and you will keep your unlimited. Just be clear that's what you're after when you get it activated.
