I am currently on Darkslide and it has been great. I have tried Apex, Liberty , Rubix and prob others.

I like to try new things so where do I go from here? Gingerbread and some other ROM?

    Any suggestions?

So many great Roms on GB. Vortex is beyond stable. Fast and EVERYthing works. Plus some great themes. MIUI has had amazing development of late, incredibly customizeable in both the way it performs and the way it looks. CM7forGB is being consistently upgraded. And then there are the ICS roms that have just been given a great boost. The camera doesn't work yet on ICS, but latest news today is that it's getting close. Have fun!

You'll need to get yourself updated first so sbf to 602 then root. Then get droid2 bootstrap and you'll be good to go. Use the 602 root iso in this link Linux solution to your Windows/RSD lite problems check out the video in that link for instructions

Oh. If you haven't heard. Do not by any means take a 621 OTA update once on gingerbread. You will NOT be able to SBF if needed again. When you SBF to gingerbread you will be on 602. An OTA to 605 would be fine but 621 is a big NO NO until an SBF is possible, if ever...

Yes the only development happening right now is happening on gingerbread. As far as roms, I have run apex, shuji, and am now on galnet miui. Miui is by far my favorite. Fast, highly customizable, tons of options, and I am getting great battery life.

Short of not having a camera on ICS, I'm loving it.
