We need contest ideas

Hey, everyone!

DXF is now seeking contest ideas. We love contests, but everything we try seems to have little participation. Even the screenshot thread has more submissions than screenshot contests. Why? I dunno.

What's your great contest idea that will get the members stirred up?

Speaking of members-
We realize that the current active members are mostly newer to the dx, and maybe modding, scene. Maybe you got your dx/dx2 as a hand-me-down or bought it dirt-cheap on eBay, and it's your first smartphone. Maybe you've been modding your dx for awhile, but recently found dxf. Maybe you've been here since the beginning.

The point is that we are a different group of members than we were a year ago. Or whenever.

So...

What kind of contest would get you fired up? Best wall? Best bootlogo or bootanimation? Best screenshot?- we love this, but see above- Best off-topic game? We're reaching out here. I want to see what you like, no matter how outrageous (within dxf guidelines of conduct).

Maybe if we pick your suggestion there could be a prize? No promises, but let's see what can be done.

The contest idea list:

-best bootlogo

-best picture taken

-best verified original wallpaper

-best wallpaper made with a drawing/designing/whatevering app (I.e. draw(er) pro, gravilux, something else)

I like the best bootlogo contest. It's not hard ti learn and it'll spark the love of theming which will give the DX a second wind. That's my personal idea. I'll be thinking ideas.

Speaking of screenshot, I have seen some nice ones lately, but Luke you stated fez, whenbit came time to vote, winner would be decided with less than 10 votes :/

Right-o. That's why I'm asking for ideas. If I can't get any action on what contests people will participate in, I can't expect any contests to get action.

Who likes free money? That's what we give out as prizes in our contests.

Who has a good contest suggestion? If we don't get participation for contest suggestions, we will have to assume that there will be no participation in contests. In which case there will be none.
