White vs Blue Signal Bars
I am on a DB running Gingerbread...
It is my understanding that for both WIFI and CMDA 3G Signal bars turn white if my DX does not have a connection with google servers, otherwise they are blue.
Assuming that my understanding there is correct, I could understand why on occasion the connection with google servers could be dropped over 3G if I have a very weak connection.
But sometimes I have a full 3G connection and full WIFI, why in the world would the bars be white then?

I also have tethering set up on my phone, not the legit kind. I use wifi tether beta. Why is it that every time I enable tethering my bars turn white?
Also, when the bars are white and with a strong signal, if I cycle the RF on my phone on and off using airplane mode, when the RF reconnects the bars turn blue.
Its how Moto has the Blur ROM setup. Its mainly with tethering that I have seen. CM7 and 2nd init ROMs don't have that issue...
So is there any practical difference from a usage standpoint if the bars are white or yellow?
No, there isn't.. It's just a common glitch you've already found the problem to by cycling airplane mode.
It use to bug the heck out of me until I found out what it actually was.
Awesome Video's by the way...
