Droid X and X2 LCD's...can they be interchanged?

So pretty much as the title states. Can the Droid X and the Droid X2 LCD screens be swapped? (not the digitizer)

The reason I'm asking...I have a friend who has an X2 with a broken LCD. They are offering me the X2 phone and said that if its possible to swap my X LCD over then I'll have a newer and hopefully "non self rebooting" phone (yes my X still reboots at random even after two restores and all patches from VZW/Moto).

And if so I might just search the web and see how much a Droid X replacement LCD costs as I heard the X2 screen lacks quality and looks more pixelated (if that's even a real word).

    Thanks in advance,
    Bruno

X2 has a pentile matrix display, while the X does not. So I would assume the power supply and other connections are likely different

And the digitizer is usually and all in one piece with the LCD screen.

And always remember to read, read, read, and read some more!

Well I was hoping they were the same though to afraid to open my Droid X to find out as its my only phone. I did though open the Droid X2 last night and the digitizer is fine...the LCD isn't though...

I just tried to do this (by accident). The X2 LCD is the same size and has the same connectors, but when installed in an X, the back light wont turn on.
