gmail security alert from unknown IP (motorola)

This IP accessed my account: 69.10.177.42

Then I checked to see if any new sites were authorized. I found socialize.gigya.com listed. What the hell is motorola doing?

I've had this happen too. This is my 4th android phone and I don't remember getting a notification about this before when I set up the phone. I read that link you posted and it sounds like it might be just from the initial setup but I'd like to know for sure. Hopefully someone can answer this.

That's what I thought. So I checked my wife's account. She has a totally stock droidx and a gmail account. That IP is nowhere to be found and neither is socialize.gigya.com. The only thing she had listed was latitude.

I received this as well when I first setup my phone, then when I set it up again after a hard reset. Definitely odd.

so no one had socialize.gigya.com show up? maybe that's an unrelated issue.
