Droid X to Droid Bionic? Are you going to? Sould I? Pros vs. Cons? It's 4g for me

I'm perfectly happy with X. I don't see any need to upgrade, which I'm due for one in March 2013, but there's no need to. X does everything I need it to do, and the only DROID series I'm comfy with, is the X series. I call the families within the DROID family X family, Incredible family, Droid family (original one), Charge family, Bionic family, and whatever new families DROID comes up with. The X family is my favorite. Also I love the design of the X family's Droids the best. I'm the kind of person who feels the appearance in a phone is important and the X family has the perfect one. To me the Droid X means alot to me, and I'm a loyal Droid X user. Also since my X is rooted, there's no need to upgrade, as I can keep it up to date

I was going to fork out the cash to upgrade my extra line this year due to MY upgrade not available till 11/12. Im going to hold off to see what they will offer in a year!

Phones will be latptops in a year lol, there should be some kick butt phones by then, I expect at least the first gen of QuadCore phones by then.

Bionic trumps X in every way.

But know this, in a few months, a phone will trump Bionic, then a few months later, a phone will trump the phone that trumped the Bionic, and so on.

I'm ok with the Bionic for $0.01. But to pay the $250 now for a regular upgrade at VZW, I would be waiting. To me a penny is a great reason to spend way less to have a the next gen phone.

I don't do phone contracts anymore, I've been with verizon since before they were verizon, used to be pacbell I think, anyway I have two kids that have worked at verizon for like 10 years, so I get my stuff from them, or if I see something I want I buy it or trade something for it, the X is still a viable phone, powerful enough to do anything you need to do in the android world, now when they start building 200mgb apps that take 16gigs of ram to run, then I'll have to update

I personally am waiting for the Galaxy Nexus to come out after the X2 D3 and now the Bionic all are laggy as heck when swiping between home screens which is terrible on motos part when u look at how smooth launcher pro is and just in general I really think a pure google phone blows all others out of the water

I think the pentile screen on the bionic is terrible, and if it wasn't 4g I personally wouldn't even consider it. My X does everything I need it to do for now, until the Prime is here

The screen prevented me from buying it full retail or even at upgrade price. But for a penny with Amazon its totally with it.
