Need help tracking my Droid. It was stolen!

As the title says, yes i have lost my phone. I need to know a couple of things to help get it back. It had wavesecure on it in case you are wondering. it was stolen last week and ive tried tracking it eversince. it wasnt working though so i deactivated it for saftey measures. What i need to know is....
1.If the criminal wiped my phone completely could that be a possibility as to why wave secure isnt picking it up?
2.Also now that it is deactivated do i have any way of tracking it down other than verizon?
    3. This leads to my next question, if the thief doesn't have the 3g or gps, will verizon give me information as to where the phone is based on its ipaddress (because i know they can track its ipaddress)
    4. my last question is will verizon bother giving me updates up as to where my phone is and will they bother tracking it.

If anyone can answer these questions i will be extremely happy. Thank you in advance

Sucks your phone is gone man, but since it is deactivated, it is a brick and can not be reactivated I belive. Please correct me if I am wrong. As far as tracking, verizon won't do too much as they were no help to my friend when his was swyped.

When verizon deactivates, it's a brick. They won't get past the set up screen

Unless it gets flashed to another network like metro.... I have seen a lot of those appearing in craigslist....kind of sucks but there is nothing else that you can do to find it if it has been flashed to another network...

I know lookout has an app called Plan B in think. It is designed for people who don't have it downloaded on their phone yet. Check it out and see if it can help any. Good luck.

Thank you all for your help although it doesnt sound promising. But will verizon do nothing even if they sense my phones activity, even if it is just wifi. I know its blacklisted but they still have a pretty expensive mp4 player at their disposal and id hate to think that they're using it. Will verizon help me find it if i ask and will they give the locations of the phone if only wifi is being used? again any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Verizon will not give you any info on the phones where abouts. As to avoid a law suit. And with it deactivated I am not sure if they can track it.

So the thief can pretty much use it how he wants, including as an itouch with wifi and verizon will not do anything about it even if they know where it is
