Has anyone tried this after the ota.
I read on another forum someone did it and it worked after the ota.

Any thoughts?

does't work, we would know about it by now. it only worked for the leaks that were unrooted last month, that was all.... sorry.

As of right now, the OTA is still unrootable...

No, its out, if you are completely stock, try power cycling your phone to get it, or go into settings, about phone, system update.

I rooted but stock everything else....if I go to settings and about and see if it's available and it is I don't have to take it do I? Kinda wanna wait for a root for gb to keep my tether

Just upgrade using the rooted tbh files. There's not not going to be a root method for the ota anytime soon.

U got a link for some step by step directions on that....I have no clue really what to do...I jus root to tether for the last 8 months...I know nothing about flashing roms or anything like that...and is gb even worth getting?

Cool thanks alot....gotta question, I checked to see if update was available and it was and as the time counted down to automatically start downloading I checked "later". It said it would remind me in a hour, now if im not near my phone in a hour, its not gonna download the update anyways will it?

Edit..ok i walked away for a little while then came back to look at my phone and it started updating and had gotten to 20% i tried to stop it but there wont anyway, i pulled the battery and hadent cut back on yet...i dont want the update what can i do so it dont start back up when i cut my phone on??!!
