Good-Bye Gingerbread! Back on .340 Froyo

I have to agree with you. Just recently I SBF'd back to froyo. I was on 588, and just had far too many bugs and kinks to work out. I kept having an odd issue when I would make calls where it would just restart. Even tried doing a restore again, but to no avail. Anyways, I also used extended controls, and the flashlight wouldn't work for me either. I also just felt like it wasn't completely polished and ready to go. Could be because I was using 588 and hadn't upgraded to a newer one.

Also, I kept having the insanely annoying issue where every couple hours, the speakerphone icon would come up in the notification bar, and the only way to get rid of this was to go in and start a call, quickly unclick the speakerphone, then end the call.

I don't know why, but this made me absolutely furious. haha, guess I have a short fuse!

Anywho, I think I am just going to wait until the official release, upgrade, then wait for root.

I am considering this myself, especially since the OTA GB is coming and day. If I have TBH do I still have to SBF to get back to 340?

Yeah, an sbf is needed to get back to.froyo from the GB leak.
