Anyone get OTA 4.5.588??

CONFIRMED: this is GB, official OTA update (update 4.5.588) but:
Do not ask when it will be released OTA to the masses, we don't know. It appears this is an early RC or late beta that was probably released for final testing and somehow it ended up on my phone for all to enjoy.
We do not know when you will start receiving the OTA update OTA

If you are having problems installing, make sure your file is named "update.zip", not "update.zip.zip", as this seems to be a somewhat common issue

NOTE: In GB, it's both volume up and volume down (not search button) to open recovery and the power button selects, not the camera button.
Question: How do I get to data wipe now?
Answer: (thx Mike7143) With the phone off hold the home key and power button. Then the triangle should show. Press both volume up/down keys. You should now be able to use the volume keys to move up and down. Scroll down to something similar to erase/clear data. Select with the power button. When it's done, select the clear cache. When that's done, reboot.

UPDATE, others are reporting getting it over the air (robrowald, kennydied23). I still hold no responsibility for whatever you do with the file.

You need to flash this from stock recovery, not clockwork. Yes, just rename the file to update.zip. Here's how to get into stock recovery:

Power off, hold the home button then press and hold the power button until the android guy with the triangle shows up. Hit the search key, use the volume buttons to scroll down to apply update from sd card and select it with the camera button, it will start the process, takes about 4 minutes, then reboots. If it Bootloops just pull the battery, do the factory reset procedure again, choose wipe data/factory reset this time, then reboot when it finishes...

Doesn't say either way. Just "Update (4.5.588.en.US) has been downloaded and is ready to install..." Says it will take up to 5 minutes and the phone will not be available during this time.
On the phone with Vz now..

Vz tech support says its a Moto update, and he had no clue as to what it fixes or provides.

Are you on a completely stock setup on your phone?

I wouldn't install it yet until its been investigated further... I'll see what I can find out and let you know..

That sounds to me like the official gingerbread ota update is starting to trickle down! I'm on the leaked now and it seems promising.

Not completely stock, as I've removed/renamed much of the preinstalled bloat, so it won't install till I restore full stock.
