Move files from SD card to internal phone storage?

I have a 32 GB SD card and needless to say, I have quite a bit of music, movies, and psx games that leave with me about 3 GB to spare. However, my phone's 8 GB internal storage has 6 GB free still. Is there any way to transfer a few things to the internal storage?

If you are rooted yes...but i'm sure its not advised... and i don't know that your phone will look in there for files for music and stuff. So it would almost be pointless.

Ah I see. Well that's not too disappointing, I can easily manage my SD card by removing what I no longer use. Just thought if I have internal memory sitting around and it's usable why not

So there is no way to take the photos and videos from my old phone's 4GB card, upload them to the internal memory, reinsert the 16GB card, and download those photos back into the bigger card?

    Thanks for any help,
    Robert

Not according to the Motorola Support Forum...it is suggested that you mount your old memory card to your laptop/computer - move them to file there, unmount and remove memory card from phone and then install next memory card - mount to laptop / computer and transfer files.

Failure isn't falling down, failure is staying down.

Is it me, or is that kind of ridiculous? But thanks for the instructions.
