What other phone? Selling DX

This whole unlocked bootloader fiasco got me thinking. What other phone for verizon is comparable in features to the DX but has an unlocked bootloader for CM7 and other complete roms? I want more control over my phone....and I just realized I don't like Moto because of the locked bootloader

Doesn't have to be the latest phone, just comparable. I will probably buy and sell on CL.

And one more question, I would just use the maderstcok flash and wipe my sd card before I sold, how do I deactivate my phone?

I think you have to call Verizon and ask them to disconnect it.

I'm not going to switch phones till my contract is up but when I do It won't be a motorola unless they unlock the bootloader. Shame too, I really like their phones over HTC's.

I'm sure the Thunderbolt will be included to the CM7 list. The Incredible is a great phone, but why go back to a smaller screen.

I would wait for the Dinc 2, should be an awesome phone, and hopefully better than the Thunderbolt

you deactivate your phone when you activate another phone, you can only have one phone per line Just make sure you are the account owner or have the account password and what not.

Also, you can use maderstock to get back to stock, but if have bootstrap installed, you have to manually get rid of that, search for how to use bootstrap. Maderstock will not rid you of bootstrap, only root.
