WiFi vs 3G? Who wins?

It seems my wifi in my 3g connection are competing. I have an excellent wifi connection at home but it keeps dropping signal. When this happens I lose my internet connection completely. If I disable my wifi it seems my internet connection stays up no matter what. Is this normal?

I am going to say it is not normal to have your wifi continually dropping. Unless my internet goes down (which it does from time to time) my wifi connection is rock solid. 3G on the other hand (for me) is spotty at best especially when driving. Most of that has to do with the terrain in western WA. Even at home my 3G isn't stable and I am only 1000 yards from a cell tower.

I was having a similar problem. I downloaded latest firmware to router and that cleared it up. Sometimes is best to just try the simple things first.

My DX wouldn't stay connected to my router either. I switched the wifi channel on the router from the default channel 1 to another channel and it's worked perfectly. Don't know if that will help but it did for me.

If I didn't have wifi I would have no hair (cause I would have pulled it all out). Frustrating to be in the shadow of a cell tower and still get 1x most of the time.

Well I changed the channel on my router and so far it looks good
